*I miss the good ole days....the days when I couldn't hear my neighbors having sex at 4 AM. *sigh*
*I really need to record some cooking videos.
*I hate when people only want to "get to know you" for personal gain.
*Small talk drives me crazy, so I hope to get better at it with this networking book.
*I'm more likely to follow people on Twitter who have pictures of themselves as their default.
*I can't wait to go on vacation with the fam next month.

*The biggest shade of 2012:
"You're ornamental, not functional" -Prez Fitz
I damn near fell off the couch.
*I wonder if Nick Cannon giggles at his acting in Drumline as much as I do. I love some Nick Cannon, by the way.
*I keep typing 2012 on everything
*I love gifs like these...

*Hubby and I don't usually like the same movies. He prefers Die Hard & Back to the Future and I'm more into Low Down Dirty Shame, Holes, Love Jones, and Dead Presidents.
We come together for King of Queens, Napoleon Dynamite & Coming to America, though.
*I don't expect much from people because I don't want them to expect much from me.
*Christmas is officially my least favorite holiday but I will try to "play nice" for the kiddies. Hopefully, next year we can be on a nice trip during the holidays.
*I haven't had a good sleep in over two weeks-still getting adjusted to the new environment. I don't miss my house as much as I thought I would....I do miss the silence, though.
*We're officially a board game family
*To know me is to love me-I have a problem maintaining friendships. Of all the people I've met in the last 5 years, only one person is still around. All of my true friends are from high school.
You Can't Pimp Me Anymore Amazon-Ha!
Last week, we picked up the key for our new place and immediately headed to the public library to sign up for a card.
Not only will we be 23 miles closer to DC (woohoo!), but our new county has a real library system. Our current one is so bad that a few months ago, I saw an original copy of Where the Red Fern Grows on the shelf. They play too much. #smh
Anyways...
As much as I love my Kindle, I plan to burn a hole through this new library card.
I still have several downloaded books that I haven't read yet, but at least now I can do most of my future reading for free.
Those days of making it rain on Amazon's "1 click" checkout are over.
