My sissy popped in from Denver this last weekend for a last minute trip. Woohoo!
One of our cousins also came up for his first D.C. visit, so we had to take him around to check out the city.
After walking, talking, and goofing off for a few hours, we headed to Legal Seafood in Chinatown for dinner. With so many vegan-friendly restaurants in DC, it wasn't my first choice, but majority rules when it comes to dining out in a group (it was 5 of us).
I've dined in Legal Sea Foods since becoming a vegan, so I wasn't concerned about being stuck with just French fries or a garden salad.
Vegetarian Box - Sesame soy stir-fried vegetables, Thai red coconut curry sauce, cashews, tofu and brown rice
My food was just so-so. They gave me too many onions, forgot the cashews, and my rice was overcooked.
Overall, we had a great time, so I wasn't too concerned about the food. I just appreciate Legal making it easy to be vegan in a seafood restaurant.
How was your weekend?
