I received a great email the other day, asking what spices and other pantry ingredients are a good starting point for a new vegan.
I recorded a podcast episode to answer that question and I also put together a quick PDF listing all of the spices and other pantry items I use frequently. You don’t need a whole lot of exotic ingredients to start your vegan journey right now.
In fact, you probably use most of these ingredients already.

Vegan sour cream-
*15 oz can of coconut milk
*1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice
*1/8 teaspoon sea salt
Place the coconut can in the fridge overnight. Open can from the bottom to drain the water. Scoop out the “cream” and place in a small bowl. Whisk in the acv or lemon juice and salt.
